As Moms, we can plan for some stuff  but definitely not for everything. In the Fall of 2024 I scheduled a surgery that my son needed at the beginning of school. Little did I know that the “thing” I felt in my breast would be diagnosed as stage 2 Breast Cancer just a month and a half later. My surgeon was surprised at the diagnosis, but I just said, “I’ve been waiting 18 years to hear this.” My sister died of metastatic breast cancer in 1996. After making it through the first chemo drug I developed an allergy to my second chemo drug. The surgery went well, but with a small hiccup. The funds that Warriors of Hope have provided make it able to stay up on all of my bills, so that my kids can have a FUN Summer (not worrying about Mom’s health). I still have one or two more surgeries, but with God on my side and organizations like this one helping I know that everything is going to be GREAT! Thank you Warriors of Hope!
